The investor list, built from the filings
Most investor lists are scraped from LinkedIn, go stale in a quarter and cost four figures. This one is assembled from the filings investors are legally required to make, so it can be rebuilt whenever the SEC publishes again.

Where it comes from
- Form D, 2008 to 2026 — 74 quarterly datasets covering every exempt offering in the US, with the named GPs, managing members and officers behind each fund.
- Form ADV and IAPD — where most VC and PE firms actually sit, giving websites, regulatory AUM, headcount and client mix.
- Form 13F — institutional managers over $100M, with the holdings they reported.
- The firms' own websites — crawled from URLs those firms disclosed themselves, for thesis, stage and check size.
No LinkedIn. No Crunchbase. Nothing behind a login or a terms-of-service restriction, which is why it can be redistributed at all.
